July 16th -19th Theatre North was in Avignon at the Festival invited by Sergio Chianca and Programme.Q to perform two extracts from My Queer Body and take part in discussions on Queering Avignon. On the evening Martin talked and led a discussion on the Main Stage of Off Avignon about his new book Out On Stage – How to Make Queer Theatre (Nick Hern Books 2026)

QUEER BODIES Queer Bodies was performed for the third time during Sitges Cultural Pride this year to an enthusiastic crowd who stayed behind afterwards to discuss the work.

05/07/18 REVIVING HANDEL’S CROSS

Five years ago our production of Handel’s Cross was very successful.  Premiering at the International Dublin Gay Theatre festival it also played in London and Glasgow where we received some great notices. Our plans to revive it aim to build on that success……
